Fuel: Please return the boat with a full tank of gas. If not, you will be charged the cost of fuel plus a $50 refueling fee. Safety Requirements: The boat will be supplied with all required safety equipment. All operators must be at least 21 years old and have prior boating experience. Life jackets must be worn or readily accessible for all passengers at all times. Pets: This is a dog-friendly rental. A dog swim platform accessory is available upon request. Please clean up after your pet and do not allow pets on upholstered areas. Excessive pet hair or damage may result in additional cleaning or repair fees. Cleaning: The boat must be returned in the same clean condition in which it was received. If excessive cleaning is required, a cleaning fee will be charged at the owner's discretion. Cancellations: - Full refund for cancellations made at least 5 days in advance. - No refunds for cancellations made within 5 days of the rental date. - Weather-related cancellations are determined at the owner's discretion and will either be refunded in full or rescheduled based on availability. Late Returns: - For hourly rentals: A $100/hour late fee will be charged for each hour past the scheduled return time. - For full-day rentals: A $600/day fee will be charged for each day the boat is not returned. No Smoking or Alcohol: Smoking and the consumption of alcohol on board are strictly prohibited. Damage: Renters are fully responsible for any and all damage to the boat, trailer, equipment, or accessories that occurs during the rental period, regardless of fault. A walk-through inspection will be conducted before and after each rental. If any damage is identified upon return, repair or replacement costs will be billed directly to the renter. Liability: The renter assumes full responsibility for the safety of all passengers, the operation of the boat, and the transport of the trailer (if applicable). This includes use on the water and while towing the boat on public or private roads. The renter agrees to operate both the boat and the trailer safely, legally, and in accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws. The owner is not liable for any injuries, damages, losses, traffic violations, or legal infractions resulting from negligent, unsafe, or unlawful operation—whether on the water or on the road. By proceeding with the rental, the renter agrees to hold the owner harmless from all liability, claims, or expenses arising from the use, transport, or handling of the boat and trailer.
