1. Rental Requirements - Renter must be at least 25 years old with a valid government-issued ID. - Operator must comply with all Florida boating laws and licensing requirements. - Anyone born on or after January 1, 1988 must possess a valid Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card or temporary certificate as required by Florida law. 2. Security Deposit - A security deposit is required prior to departure. - Renter is responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, fuel charges, lost equipment, or violations incurred during the rental period. 3. Permitted Use - Vessel is for recreational use only. - No racing, towing, commercial activity, or operation under the influence of drugs or alcohol. - No operation outside approved navigation areas. - No beaching the vessel unless specifically authorized. 4. Operator Responsibility - Renter assumes full responsibility for the vessel, passengers, and operation during the rental period. - Renter agrees to operate the vessel safely and in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws. - Life jackets and required safety equipment must remain onboard at all times. 5. Weather Policy - Unsafe weather decisions are determined solely by the rental company. - Light rain or cloudy conditions do not automatically qualify for cancellation or refund. - Severe weather may result in rescheduling or rental credit at management discretion. 6. Fuel Policy - Vessel must be returned with the agreed fuel level. - Fuel charges may be deducted from the security deposit if necessary. 7. Late Returns - Late returns may result in additional hourly charges. - Failure to return the vessel on time may result in law enforcement notification. 8. Damage & Liability - Renter is financially responsible for damage caused during the rental period, including prop damage, lower unit damage, upholstery damage, or negligence. - Renter agrees to report any accident, grounding, or mechanical issue immediately. - Rental company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. 9. Prohibited Activities The following are strictly prohibited: - Operating under the influence - Reckless operation - Smoking or illegal drug use onboard - Transporting illegal substances - Allowing unauthorized operators - Exceeding passenger capacity 10. Cancellation Policy - Cancellations made more than 72 hours before departure may receive a refund minus processing fees. - Cancellations within 72 hours may be non-refundable unless due to severe weather or company decision. - No-shows are non-refundable. 11. Indemnification Renter agrees to release, defend, and hold harmless the rental company, owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or legal actions arising from use of the vessel. 12. Acknowledgement By renting or operating the vessel, renter acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
