Rates: • 4 Hours: $400 What You Can Expect: We provide individualizes instruction in saltwater angling. We specialize in saltwater fly fishing instruction in the southern New Jersey area. Charter Trips Offered and Season Inshore Bluefin Tuna on the Fly (July-August) World class action can be had just 10-20 miles off the coast of New Jersey. Once the fish are located we live chum Bonito, False Albacore and Bluefin Tuna into a frenzy that will have your fly-reef's drag begging for mercy! This is truly a spectacle. During seasons past we were catching 30-50 Bluefin on flies per trip during the peak. Over 300 Bluefins were caught and released during a three week period in the summer. This is an amazing experience for both beginners and seasoned fly-fishermen alike! Dolphin ( Mahi-Mahi) on the Fly (July - September) This is a specialty that rarely misses! Unbelievable sight fishing for Dolphin on the fly! Using live chum we bring Dolphin in casting range and have a blast. Catch Dolphin from 3-30 pounds on 8-10 wt., Fly rods. This is an amazing opportunity for the beginner or the seasoned fly fishemen. This is an experience that has to be seen to be believed. This trip occurs in conjuction with an offshore trolling trip, so you will most likely return with some Tuna as well! Back Bay Trips (March - December) Fish for Stripers, Blues, and Weak fish in the scenic back-bays behind the barrier islands from Sea Isle City to Cape May day or night. Fly fish or cast light spinning rods to catch these inshore game fish with poppers and artificial lures. Fluke Fishing (May - September) Bottom fish for Flounder with live bait behind Sea Isle City along the inter coastal waterway. Bottom fishing peaks in May, but continues through the summer. This is a great trip for parents and their kids. No seasickness, plenty to see! Inshore Shark (July - August) This is a specialty! Catch Brown, Sandbard and Dusky sharks up to 80 pounds while sight casting with a fly rod. Don't fly fish: Thes same fish are a blast on light spinning rods! A great visual experience, see fish before you catch them! Sharking makes a great day trip during the summer. Inshore Fishing (June-December) Catch Striper and Blues with jigs or live eels during the fall months through December. Bottom fish for Flounder, Sea-Bass, Tog, Weakfish, and Blues during the summer months. A great alternative to crowded party boats. Sharking Trips (June-July) This is the hot ticket offshore during the early summer month of June. Catch Mako, Blue and thresher sharks while chumming. The action can be amazing. We can also catch these fish on the fly! Canyon Trips (June - October) Go offshore trolling for Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna and White and Blue Marlin, and Dolphin in style! We fish the canyons by trolling rigged ballyhoo and artificial lures. Chunking trips for inshore Bluefin Tuna can be very productive in the early summer months. Overnight canyon chuking trips for Yellowfin Tuna begin in August and continue through October. What To Expect Onboard: We will be fishing aboard the fully equipped vessel for fishing, a 35ft long Cabo Express Yacht that accommodates up to 6 anglers.
