Gas Fee $20 an hour Please Note: US Coastguard mandates all bareboat charters can not pre-include captain’s salary and fuel in the rental price. You will pay the captain directly at marina before your trip. The captain is to be paid outside of GetMyBoat. The reason why captain and fuel cannot be included in the price is that LAW does not allow it. As per Bareboat charter operations, we have to give you options for captains and once you select the captain CHARTERER (person renting the boat) is responsible for paying the captain fee and fuel separate from the GetMyBoat transaction. The captain fee and fuel fee have to be paid on the day of the trip at marina.

Severe weather as in high winds, lightning, tropical events will be either cancelled, postponed, or rescheduled to another date or time. -----Late or No Show for Charter----- We highly recommend clients show up early to their charter. In event of no contact with client, captain will only wait 30 minutes. If late and in contact we will try our best to make up lost time but if we have charter already booked after yours we might not be able to make up lost time so highly recommend being early and/or keeping an open channel of communication with captain.
