Things to consider for your daysailer rental.

  • If you're new to sailing, consider booking a sailing lesson if you'd like to learn. Daysailers are great for day trips and are easy to learn on.
  • Don't forget to pack sunscreen and towels if you plan on jumping off for a swim. You can also bring snacks and other supplies onboard to make for a great boat day on a deck boat.
  • Be sure to consider the size of your group when selecting a boat. When in doubt, check with the captain about how many the boat can safely accommodate.

San Juan 21 Sailing Sloop For Day Sailing on Boothbay Harbor, Maine

Our one-day bare-boat rental of a San Juan 21 from West Harbor Recreation in Boothbay, Maine went very well. The boat was in good shape and well maintained. It was equipped with all required safety equipment. Everything we used functioned well. The bays and islands around Boothbay are as beautiful as any in the world, but just a smidgen of navigational skill is required. Along with making sure that we had at least the required navigation ability and providing a chart, Tim did a good job of explaining the features of the boat. In moderate winds the boat moved along smartly (my smart phone said as much as 6 knots), and on average was fast enough for us to get to some small outer rocky islands inhabited by seals. I highly recommend West Harbor Recreation for sailboat rentals.

41ft Dufour Daysailer Boat Sleep Aboard Rental in Barcelona, Spain

If we could give 6 stars, we would! The AVA is beautiful, the location more than great ( = perfect!) and the skipper on site, Mark, is the most friendly and cool guy you can imagine. We will go sailing with him again :-) Before we went to Barcelona, the communication with the owner, Alexander, was fine and very helpful. It all worked 100%. Concluded in a few words: Do your self a favour and book it... By the way: Our wifes were not so sure about the idea staying on a boat, but after the trip they already asked when we go again ;) Kind regards, Morten Frank Mogensen, Denmark

    Daysailer rental in Hampton

The boat was in perfect condition, ready for anything we could ask for. Doug sails and races on a weekly basis, often in this particular boat, so his feel for the boat, the wind, and the waters we sailed in are well honed. The boat is forgiving, and Doug was unflappable. An encouraging beginner experience, and very fast under experienced guidance. I did not hope for as good an experience, and cannot offer a higher endorsement. Top marks.

Rent a 5 person Daysailer in Valle de Bravo, Mexico

We had a great time sailing J24 on Valle de Bravo! Lots of fun. Wind came up beautifully at 1pm and we sailed the afternoon away.. Prompt help from the shore crew to get the boat back in safely to the dock.
