   Maine Cruising Catamaran Charter in Placencia, Belize

   I envisioned what this excursion might be like based on the description, photos, and reviews. I must say, I need a better imagination. This 38’ catamaran trip on a boat called YOLO, captained by Jimmy and Mike from Placencia to Moho Caye was an absolute dream. The hospitality, warmth, expertise, and sheer delight Mike and Jimmy shared was exemplary. We began with a 90 minute jaunt to Moho Caye while sipping on rum punch on the trampoline netting on the bow. Grill Master Jimmy prepped, exceptional carribean jerk chicken and pork chops, potatoes, and other tasty treats, plus vegan options for my girlfriend while we drifted around the crystal clear azure waters and sunbathed on the velvety beige-white sand. They had felled ready to drink coconuts as well. We had as much privacy as we wished, with perfected hospitality when we needed it. After lunch we escaped to the corner of the blissful island, I dropped to a knee, and she said yes. My now fiancée, crew and I set sail back with motors off on the majestic sea as we were with the current and wind. If you’re looking for a once in a lifetime adventure beyond your dreams, search no more. Also, the owner, Lee’s communications and thoughtfulness was amazingly helpful and prompt every step of the way!

   Traditional Fishing & Trolling to Deep Sea Fishing Trip in Punta Gorda, Belize

   We had an excellent day out on the water! Our capitaine suggested a cute cay for us to snorkel around. We saw lots of fish and a barracuda! Lunch was also provided and was delicious!!
