I’ve spent 27 years on the water, turning a lifelong passion for boating into a professional career as a USCG-licensed captain. With experience operating commercial passenger vessels, private charters, research vessels, and sailing craft throughout Southern California, I bring confidence, professionalism, and safety to every trip. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Biology and spent 12 years as a First Mate and Science Officer aboard a research vessel, supporting scientific expeditions focused on plankton and whale migration. My background allows me to combine expert vessel handling with engaging interpretation of local marine wildlife and maritime history. I also hold a sailing endorsement and continue to expand my skills under sail. Whether leading wildlife tours, historic cruises, private charters, or memorial services, my goal is to provide every guest with a safe, educational, and unforgettable experience on the water.
