I honestly didn’t expect to walk away from this trip with a whole new hobby, but here I am—hooked for life. Guy has this way of making the entire experience feel effortless and exciting, whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s been at it for years. From teaching the basics with real patience to creating an atmosphere that’s both laid-back and full of energy, he made it easy to fall in love with fishing. The way he explained the gear, read the water, and shared his stories made every moment out there on the water feel like something special. You can tell he truly loves what he does, and that kind of passion is contagious. I went in thinking this was just a one-time adventure, but now I’m already planning my next trip—and buying my own gear. Can’t thank Guy enough for turning what was supposed to be a relaxing weekend into the start of a lifelong obsession. If you’ve ever been on the fence about trying fishing, let Guy be the reason you dive in—you won’t regret it.

I am your captain and I would love to take you fishing. I started out like many of you by fishing with my Dad. He instilled the love of the Great Outdoors in both my brother and me. As I got older and more experienced I began to realize that there were many different varieties of fish worth pursuing. Almost nowhere else on earth are so many freshwater gamefish species available in such close proximity as around the Great Lakes. Think of it like going to Baskin-Robbins: why limit oneself to vanilla when there are so many flavors and they are all good?! I take great pride and pleasure in getting people to experience new species and techniques. In fact, I’d rather see my guests catch fish than myself. I specialize in small groups and personal attention. I do not guarantee fish, sometimes they just will not cooperate. That’s fishing. But I will guarantee that I will give my best effort every time out to put fish in the boat. Give me a call if you want to have a unique, hands-on fishing experience. • He has lived in the Chicago area his entire life • He got his Coast Guard OUPV license in February of 2009 and launched company in 2010. • He spends between 80 and 100 days on the water each year practicing his craft. • He enjoys talking shop and sharing the finer points of presentation with advanced anglers as much as teaching an eleven-year-old to use the figure-eight technique to catch his first muskie. • He also designs and manufactures his own line of custom tackle items including the Never Foul Musky Spinnerbait, the Second Chance Ultimate Musky Quick-Strike Rig, and lure condoms. • His boat is a 2014 Lund 208 Pro-V GL fiberglass walleye boat.
