Captain Steve grew up on the water, living aboard boats from the age of 3 and standing his first offshore overnight watch at 12 years old. Throughout his life he’s been obsessed with the wonder of the ocean and the life within. From a childhood spent wearing a mask and snorkel, to a career sailing, building and skippering boats up and down the west coast, Steve has gathered a trove of stories, experience and knowledge. “When I see my guests experience the pure joy of playful dolphins, the awe of the largest whales in the ocean, or the wonder of a once in a lifetime interaction, it really fills me with that sense of purpose I’d wish on anyone!”
