This was the most affordable rental in the area by far - substantially cheaper than other available boats. So, I wasn’t expecting a state of the art luxury experience. The host was also very kind in accommodating my request to start the reservation at 1pm instead of 12pm. She agreed to this request around 10am. Unfortunately, the boat wasn’t ready for us until a little after 1:30, so we sat waiting at the dock for some time. The boat was handed off to me flat empty out of gas, with the fuel indicator light flashing. I was told not to worry, because they had “other boats” in case I ran out of gas on the way to the fuel dock. The radio on the boat does not work. It would have been nice to know up front so we could bring a Bluetooth speaker. The horn also doesn’t work, which is a serious safety feature. The boat also did not come with adequate and appropriate dock lines. It could also use a thorough cleaning. The boat ran very well, and we had a great time on the lake. The issues with this rental are easy to fix. Clean the boat, make sure it has some gas, fix the horn, spend $30 on some dock lines, and let people know they’ll need to bring a Bluetooth speaker.
