Cancellation Fees • If the charter is canceled more than 30 days prior to charter: 100% of charter fee. What qualifications do I need to charter? Experience is more important than paper qualifications. Although no formal qualifications are required to charter your own bareboat yacht, we do insist that at least one of your crew members has previous sailing or yachting experience with proven certifications. Upon booking you will be asked to fill out a sailing resume outlining your sailing history. If you do not have enough experience or are a complete novice, our experienced instructor/captain can get you to a level where you are confident enough to handle your own yacht. What time do I start my yacht charter? Contract start time is 12 noon on the first day of your sailing holiday. Contract finish time on your last day is 12 noon. Late check-outs are available depending upon your vessel’s movements the following day. Late check-outs cannot be confirmed until the day before you finish your yacht charter. Again, we will always endeavour to accommodate all special requests. How can I learn to sail? If you don’t have any sailing experience we recommend you take a experienced instructor, which will benefit the entire crew. Do I need a professional skipper? Of course you don’t need to hire a skipper for your full holiday, but choosing a crew to accompany you on your yacht charter holiday means you can sit back and totally relax. Our crew are selected for their friendliness and professionalism and are dedicated to making your holiday as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. Book a skipper and hostess for a crewed yacht charter of complete indulgence, or create your own culinary delights and just have a skipper taking the helm of your yacht so you can sit back and enjoy. How far is the airport? The airport is only 20 min drive away from our base. We can organize transfers for, once we know your schedule. Do we need snorkeling/scuba diving equipment? The snorkeling equipment is supplied free of charge (mask, snorkel, fins). Scuba equipment you could bring or rent it locally.
