As a USCG Master Captain and first time user of GetMyBoat, I was fairly skeptical of the process. Through the app, I was able to ask Rory questions by text to get more comfortable and he was very patient with me. Rory delivered an upgraded experience, a safe and clean boat and timely departure and retrieval. The price we paid was fair and we had an amazing day on the water as a family. We will definitely rent from Rory again.

Rory was a nice guy to rent from, and his boat was clean and enjoyable to handle. My family especially loved the good speakers. We had a fun time cruising up and down the inter-coastal listening to our playlists. We put in at Dunedin Causeway beach and headed down to Indian Rocks bridge. Lots to see along the way, including dolphin, and nests on some channel markers with Osprey and their little ones. We’re looking forward to renting from Rory again and trying the island hopping he told us about, just north of where we put in. Thanks again, we had a great time!

This boat was so much fun, and it was spacious for all 12 of us. Rory was there to greet us when we departed and arrived just to make sure we were good to go and had a lot of fun. We went to a sand bar and it was so much fun. Highly recommend!!

I was blessed to grow up with the gulf as my backyard. My brother at 10 and I at age 8 received our first boat to cruise around the gulf. Captain fees are typically $50 per hour, and tipping is customary (15-20% of bill). Understand this peer-to-peer boat sharing platform; Google 'bareboat charter agreement' before booking. We aim to meet your boat preference and start time, but flexibility is appreciated. Bad weather? Reschedule with credit for up to a year. Additional fees: $150 cancellation option, GetMyBoat charges, and 25% holiday surcharge. Read FWC motorboat safety sheet before renting. Age requirements and boater safety courses apply.
