Karuc is a small fisherman’s place situated on the banks of Skadar lake. The place is very popular during summer and visited by people who want to explore the lake and enjoy in the pure nature. Even Petar I Petrović, Montenegrin ruler, had his winter home built here, because of the mild climate in the village. Like any other village on the Skadar lake, Karuč is small, but enormous in terms of historical importance and natural beauty. The company stand is located in front of fountain and across from the Basta restaurant. Parking in Virpazar is free, just sometimes it is hard to find free space.
