   Our experience with Kevin and his boat was perfect. Our group had a wonderful day out on the lake and going up and down the river. Evan was a great Captain and would recommend him highly. Everything was exactly as advertised and we would definitely do it again!

   We rented a boat in Chicago yesterday for my sister’s bachelorette party, and overall had a great time! First off, Max was an amazing captain — very friendly, helpful, and professional. He made us feel comfortable and ensured we had a smooth ride. The boat itself was clean, spacious, and had a nice downstairs area with a bathroom. We loved being able to lounge on the Lilly pad raft and enjoy the sunshine on the lake! That said, we were disappointed by the lack of transparency with the charges. Before the trip, we were not informed that a 20% automatic tip ($400) would be added on top of the nearly $3,000 we paid, which already included a $300 “service charge.” We had assumed that service charge was the gratuity. We fully intended to tip Max ourselves after the trip, but instead felt blindsided by the pre-added gratuity. The communication from both Get My Boat and the boat company could have been much clearer, and we were never provided with a full contract to review ahead of time. While we had fun and appreciated Max’s service, the surprise charges left us feeling taken advantage of. Transparency is key, and I hope the company addresses this for future customers.

   I had some friends visiting Chicago and wanted to impress them. Renting a boat from Kevin was the crown jewel of the weekend! Our captain Evan was very professional, accommodating and friendly. The boat exceeded expectation. Would definitely book with them again!

   What a great time!! We rented Kyle’s boat for a bachelorette party and 10/10 would recommend to another group. There were 12 of us and we had plenty of space between the front, back, and inside of the boat. Captain Dan was fantastic and we would recommend him as well! Overall a great experience and our favorite part of our bachelorette weekend! Definitely would rent again!!

   I cannot say enough good things about Bad Beaches Only! Planning a bachelorette party can be chaotic, but this company made everything SO easy. Their communication was top-tier, and they were always quick to respond to my questions. The day of the boat charter, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ready to have the best time. A huge shout-out to our captain, Mike, who was truly fantastic and the perfect guide for our adventure. This women-owned business is truly exceptional, and I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a fun and professional charter experience.

   My friends and I plan a summer boat day every year. I got in contact with Chris who was very responsive from the start and very helpful through the entire booking. We reached out to captain Dan Chavez and I was so happy that we did. He made the experience amazing and was very attentive throughout our time. He prioritized our safety and had gave us a great time. Would mostly highly recommend for an amazing time!
