   Had an amazing time on our boat charter! From start to finish, everything was smooth, professional, and beyond enjoyable. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt safe and relaxed the whole time. The boat itself was spotless and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a fun day on the water. Whether we were cruising, sunbathing, or dropping anchor to swim, it was an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to escape, unwind, and enjoy a perfect day at sea!

   Charter is quite pricey. the boat was nice and we had a ball plenty of space for the 10 of us. (12 people would’ve been a little cramped tbh) i definitely enjoyed myself but i feel misled as the captain expected a large tip because he wasn’t being paid EVEN THO we paid for the captain as part of the fees through gmb. like i said, expensive as hell and you can definitely find same quality for less if you shop around & plan accordingly. aside from the money, we had a BALL 1000/10 would definitely do this again!

   Everything went smoothly from booking, through departure, and arrival back to the dock. The boat was big enough for 9 girls to easily spread out on the back and the front. We were able to Bluetooth music through the speakers on the front and back. The bathroom, seating area, and fridge were great bonuses. I would highly recommend!

   Sofia and the 44’ Sundancer made for a spectacular day on the water. The boat was perfectly big enough for 12 guests + captain, with space for all at the back of the boat (nice for the choppy water we encountered that day). Captain Roland was hospitable and welcoming. Several boat owners/other captains advised us not to go out due to rough conditions but Roland safely (and enjoyably) cruised up to a cove where we had a great time floating, swimming, and listening to music on the great sound system. The boat was well-equipped and in very good condition; fridge and freezer below deck had plenty of room for drinks for 12. Highly recommend and if I need to rent a boat again, this is a top choice!

   We rented a boat in Chicago yesterday for my sister’s bachelorette party, and overall had a great time! First off, Max was an amazing captain — very friendly, helpful, and professional. He made us feel comfortable and ensured we had a smooth ride. The boat itself was clean, spacious, and had a nice downstairs area with a bathroom. We loved being able to lounge on the Lilly pad raft and enjoy the sunshine on the lake! That said, we were disappointed by the lack of transparency with the charges. Before the trip, we were not informed that a 20% automatic tip ($400) would be added on top of the nearly $3,000 we paid, which already included a $300 “service charge.” We had assumed that service charge was the gratuity. We fully intended to tip Max ourselves after the trip, but instead felt blindsided by the pre-added gratuity. The communication from both Get My Boat and the boat company could have been much clearer, and we were never provided with a full contract to review ahead of time. While we had fun and appreciated Max’s service, the surprise charges left us feeling taken advantage of. Transparency is key, and I hope the company addresses this for future customers.

   Jimmy’s boat was great and so was our captain! He was patient helped us out—the dock was towards the end of the harbor and he offered to drive closer to pick up so we wouldn’t need to walk so far with all our things! Thanks for a great experience!
