   We booked this charter as our main reason to visit Japan was to scatter our mom’s ashes since she was born here. They accommodated our request and communicated with me up until the day of our charter. They were very nice and thoughtful and took us to a beautiful spot to scatter ashes and allowed us our moment. We then proceeded on the tour of the bay which was a great way to see Tokyo from a different view and allow us to take the entire experience in. I would definitely recommend booking with them if you would like to take a bay tour. They communicated well and thoroughly , were on time, and very nice and friendly.

   Had a very enjoyable morning with Nozumu. While the weather wasn't perfect he still took me out and found some sheltered spots to fish, putting me onto plenty of schools of feeding spanish mackerel. Easily the highlight of my stay in Osaka so far!

   An excellent charter. The captain and his crew were accommodating, extremely knowledgeable and great hosts. We could not have asked for a better time on the ocean in Guam. I would charter another trip with Captain Gie and his crew anytime and without hesitation.

   Fishing in Osaka was something our group really wanted to do! Booking with Koji was easy! Koji was patient with our group as we were not experienced with fishing and really took his time to teach us and support us. Koji spoke Japanese but was easy to communicate with translate apps! Captain Koji was so nice and we can’t wait to come back again to visit him!

   Nozomu was great to deal with. We started fishing for octopus, then moved on to Horse Mackerel but they just weren’t biting on this day, however Nozomu suggested trawling off the airport and we ended up with a 94cm Kingfish which was great. Nozomu joined us for dinner at a local family restaurant where they prepared the kingfish and octopus for us. They served multiple dishes and it was very authentic. Great experience. Thanks again.

   Absolutely cannot recommend Captain Nozomu highly enough! He saved our trip—and turned what could have been a huge disappointment into one of the most unforgettable experiences my son and I had in Japan. After being ghosted by another captain we had originally booked through this very site (paid in advance, no-show, no contact…), we were scrambling, heartbroken, and unsure if we’d get to fish at all in Osaka Bay. That’s when we found Captain Nozomu—and everything changed. Despite a language barrier, Captain Nozomu went out of his way to communicate clearly, kindly, and with genuine care. He welcomed us with a warm smile, top-tier professionalism, and the kind of joyful energy that instantly put my 10-year-old son at ease. We were fully outfitted with great gear, thoughtful instruction, and even snacks—and from the moment we stepped aboard, we felt like honored guests. While I’ve been offshore fishing for over 30 years, I was blown away by how skillfully Captain Nozomu handled everything. He made sure we were on the fish and gave us every chance to succeed. My son still hasn’t stopped talking about it. Captain Nozomu was patient, encouraging, and clearly an expert on the water. He made sure everything went smoothly and joyfully, which—given the situation we had come from—meant the world to us.
