Our 37ft Steber Flybridge Pro-Fisher is a working charter fishing boat, surveyed and fully insured for the job. Stebers are the boats NSW offshore rescue crews rely on, and NSW Fisheries and the NSW Water Police run the Steber 37 as well. That reputation comes down to how they handle: strong, stable and comfortable when the water picks up. If you’ve ever been knocked about on a smaller boat, you’ll feel the difference within the first few minutes of heading out. There’s room for up to 10 people on a fishing charter, so the whole group can come out together. Around two thirds of the boat is under cover, which means there’s always somewhere to get out of the sun or a passing shower between bites. Most of the fishing happens on the rear deck, while the cabin up front is where people sit down, have a feed and take a breather. A captain is included on every charter.
