Bertrand is a seasoned sailor and technician whose passion for the sea began at the French Sailing School of Rosbras-Brigneaud in Brittany. Originally based in Nieuwpoort, Belgium, he spent years perfecting his skills across the North Seas, sailing between France, the Netherlands, Belgium, the British Isles, and Scandinavia. In 2019, he undertook a remarkable voyage from Belgium to Greece aboard his own yacht, crossing the North Sea, the Atlantic coast, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar, the Balearic Islands, Sardinia, Sicily, and Crete. Since settling in Greece, he has worked as a professional skipper for six years. He holds the RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with Commercial Endorsement, along with Belgian and French licenses. A true connoisseur of the sea, Bertrand is known for prioritizing safety and composure onboard — while never hesitating to face the wind's challenges with determination when circumstances demand it.
