   We were 3 adults and 3 kids (7 years old and an infant) and we had a great afternoon out. Carson was really pleasant, played great music and ensured we got our dip in the ocean at a lovely spot. He didn’t rush us and let the kids use his Polaroid camera!

   This boat company was great & professional. Captain John was nice & friendly!The only areas of opportunity, lboat company recommended a couple of food options to bring to the boat ride. We chose Becca’s Boards as it offers charcuterie and crudites.Fully paid.I planned this “Mother’s Day” boat ocean fun first week of May.Booked May 2 to be exact.Text messages confirmed. Then,last Friday late afternoon,I got a text asking if she can deliver Sun AM asking me if I am “local” (OC).I responded to let her know Sun. morning is my church day then we’ll go straight to the dock.Boat dock parking area was the agreed delivery spot.It will not be ideal to leave the charcuterie boxes & crudity I ordered inside the car while am at church.Upon sending that info, I was hopeful,she will figure it out.As other normal businesses will do.Then a day before Mother’s Day,she sent a text cancelling my order & offering to refund via PayPal. I don’t have PayPal.The delivery of cancellation message was very unprofessional.Most importantly you are cancelling a client day before the paid service,no phone call to ask where to refund, etc. At least be nice about it.She just dictated how she wants to refund.Coming off as a VERY ENTITLED PERSON.Just because it’s her Mother’s Day too, doesn’t mean she has the right to make it inconvenient to customers.A professional business person would not accept orders if you don’t want to provide service on Mother’s Day.Awful customer experience from Becca Boards.

   We had such a special, unforgettable time out on the water with Charlie. I booked his boat for a birthday celebration, and he took us to this beautifully quiet, peaceful spot in the middle of the ocean; it felt almost magical. 🌊 Charlie was an amazing captain; so warm, easygoing, and genuinely kind. He greeted us with a big smile and was incredibly flexible and helpful throughout. What really stood out was how he went the extra mile to help me with the birthday decorations, even offering ideas and lending a hand to bring everything together. It made the whole experience feel extra thoughtful and personal. Even though I brought a few things along, the boat itself was wonderfully equipped with everything we could possibly need, which made the day feel effortless and comfortable. We spent the time relaxing, celebrating, and just soaking it all in. Everyone had such a lovely time; my guests were truly happy, and it’s a memory we’ll all cherish. Highly, highly recommended.

   Charlie was hands down the best boat captain I could’ve asked for. I was on the tour by myself, and from the moment I stepped onboard, he made me feel completely welcome and comfortable like I’d known him for years. Genuinely one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He went above and beyond to make my birthday special, and it turned into a day I won’t forget. Being solo could’ve felt awkward, but Charlie made sure it was anything but that. And I’ve got to mention the BBQ chicken… absolutely incredible. It’s not every day you get that kind of food out on the water, and it just made the experience even better. If I could give 10 stars, I would without hesitation. Next time I’m in Vancouver, there’s no question I’ll be booking with Charlie again.

   My friends and I had a great time cruising around the bay with Ryan. The boat is fast and a great way to get around the bay while taking in the sun and sights.

   We are still talking about our time aboard The Genesis! Eric was so welcoming to our family, ages 2 - 70! A true sailor, Eric took us on a two-hour sail from Chelsea Piers to the Statue of Liberty. He shared his endless knowledge about NYC as we passed spots of interest on the shoreline. Eric was super kind and patient with our 5-year-old grandson, allowing him to steer the boat. That experience was priceless. The Genesis is a wonderful sailboat that has been lovingly and meticulously cared for. Thank you, Eric, for helping us celebrate Nick's 70th birthday. It was perfect!
