   Captain Jim was the perfect lake guide for our small, tight-knit group of business owners from all over the US, who are also good friends. We wanted an easy-going experience of being on the water and seeing the lake while we visited with one another — without an overly chatty or intrusive host. Captain Jim was perfect! Jim was professional, positive and knew how to “read the room” with his customers. Jim provided clear, proactive and polite communication from the very start of our inquiry, right up to the start of the cruise, during and after. He instilled confidence immediately, and he really connected with everyone in our group —while somehow also just focusing on driving the boat and letting us all have our time. Captain Jim was professional and positive with a strong emotional intelligence. Also… His classic yacht is clean, cared-for and convenient — as in… having a head/restroom onboard was so nice. If you appreciate knowing glances and friendly waves on the water, the boat has a unique classic beauty and is a fun head-turner. The whole experience with Captain Jim is highly recommended.

   Truly could not have been more pleased with Jim. He offered a wonderful service, and all of my guests were so happy and had a wonderful time. We will definitely use him again and highly recommend! He offered us blankets, and let us use his cooler! The boat was fantastic as well - very clean and luxurious! Thanks so much Jim!

   5 stars all around. Jim was communicative from the start and it was easy and accessible to park at his home. The boat is beautiful and spacious - it fit my entire group of friends and the under deck was great for our snacks and access to a bathroom. We had a tame group for my birthday and he brought floaties and helped us blow one up. Overall an easy process for renting! I no longer live in MN, so being back on the lake with good energy was the best ending to my summer. I hope to rent from him again in the future. Thank you, Jim!

   Jim is an excellent host, he was quite friendly, respectful and involved, he catered to all our request and ensured that we were comfortable through out our ride. I recommend Jim and believe me when I say you won’t regret booking a ride with him…Great guy, everyone in my group had great things to say as well.

   AMAZING is how I would describe our experience with Captain Jim and his immaculately maintained boat. From booking through disembarking, Jim was accommodating, flexible and easy to work with. Not only is he excellent at piloting the boat, his outgoing and friendly nature creates an extremely welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. The spacious seating area allowed our “crew” of 8 long-time friends ample room to spread out. We cruised Lake Minnetonka, some for the first time, and Jim provided an exceptional tour. All in all it was a spectacular afternoon that I recommend and will do again! Thank you Captain Jim!!!

   Fantastic night on the lake! Beautiful boat. Jim was an amazing captain and host. Reached out to see what we needed and was very flexible and responsive! We had 8 people, but easily fits 10 or 12+. Spacious deck with room for 3 or 4 on each side sitting area (left side and right side), plus room for 4-6 along the back. Fun lounge area on the front of the boat (on top of the interior), and nice interior and bathroom. Leaving from the dock at his house on Lake Minnetonka was super convenient, with plenty of parking for our group. Completely effortless and wonderful night. Highly recommend!
