Our fisheries are the most unique in All the continent of North America, Due to our position in the Mississippi river delta; that is right in the middle of fresh water from the Mississippi river and the salt water from the Gulf of Mexico. So, in a short 10-30 minute boat ride we can be in either freshwater, brackish water, or salt water allowing for the diversity in bag limits that can range from freshwater fish like: largemouth bass ,bullfrog, to brackish water fish like speckled trout, to salt water like mangrove and red snapper. Our small fishing village is know for its diversity in seafood because we held the title off "(Seafood capitol of the entire World)" back in the late 80's. This also allows for the outdoor activities list for charter to be very abundant and flexible for species specific like catching bullfrogs ,clamming ,crabbing, hunting or catch in release. All of our activities can be accommodated with meals either Pre arranged or we can have one of our staffed professional cajuns and coonasss prepare yall harvested catch the way locals prepare and enjoy seafood. Our sightseeing/ tours are at the top of the list for things to do in New Orleans because of the diversity of ecosystems like freshwater marsh, cypress swamp, brackish water marsh , and saltwater marsh . The delta we explore is the second most productive on earth allowing for the possibilities to interact with animal life like Alligators, whitetail swamp deer, bobcat, otter, porpoise and 60% of all North American bird life and a lot more likely with us. Things to inquire about when booking one of our boats 1)we always provide yall with a captain to navigate the waterways and put yall in the best fishing spot, or in the prettiest scenery for viewing on sightseeing/tour rental. 2) All equipment will be provided such as fishing poles or tackle in order to give our guest the best chance possible for targeted fish species. But yall can bring personal fishing equipment just let us know before arrival so if we need to make accommodations we can to make your experience the best possible 3) Transportation to and from New Orleans can be provided as well as Meals prepared from fresh Louisiana seafood or seafood harvested yourself on charter and experience optional with rental. We have a few different vessel options for rent and is usually determined by the booking party size to allow for best traversing in shallow water conditions.
