A kayak is the name of a type of vessel which is used to move across the water’s surface. It is distinguished from canoeing by the sitting position of the paddler and the number of blades on the paddle. A canoer’s paddle will only have one blade while a Kayak paddle has two blades at either end. Kayaking can also be a great workout on your core muscles and help you keep in shape.
