PRIVATE and SAFE Newport Harbor Tour, Picnic and Swim

Welcome aboard. The boat is licensed for a maximum of 6 passengers. No pets please. This is not your typical boat ride. No crowds, just your family and friends taking in the best of what Newport on the water has to offer. This is about boating privately and safely. Each charter is customized to come aboard when you want, go where you want, and stay for as long as you want. Bring your own music, beverages, and provisions. Alcohol is allowed. The charter begins by getting comfortable, sitting back and relaxing. The bow has large, comfortable cushions perfect for stretching out and sunning. Two oversized and adjustable captain’s chairs accommodate anyone looking for total comfort. Especially seniors who prefer a shaded, padded and secure place to relax.  There is an accessible storage locker in the bow area to keep possessions close by, safe and dry. Bring your own beverages and provisions. There are towels, coolers and complimentary bottled water and ice. There is no onboard head (toilet).  There are facilities along the tour route for easy accommodated rest stops. LET THE FUN BEGIN Boarding location is is on the same pier as the Oliver Hazzard Perry 3 masted schooner.  There is plenty of free parking and large, clean accessible bathrooms located inside the gift shop.  The charter begins with a tour of Newport Harbor and surrounding areas.  Sights include the majesty of the harbor and the mega yachts and classic boats of a new and bygone era.  Grand estates and famous yacht clubs intermingle with marinas packed with every type and size boat. And to top it off the SafeHarbor shipyard cradles among the largest and most expensive yachts in the world.  Depending on the day sailboat regattas take place in multiple locations throughout bay. There are scenic views everywhere from the Captains Homes of the historic Point Section, to Goat Island and its marinas, up close and under the Newport Bridge.  If the weather is mild the tour continues across the Narragansett Bay to Jamestown Harbor for a scenic tour of waterfront homes, a quaint seaport town to explore, and a rich mooring field of classic boats. The tour concludes by picking up a mooring in a quiet cove to relax, picnic and swim.  There is a small and safe beach for kids easily accessed from the boat. It is time to relax, soak up the sun and listen to music or simply enjoy the quiet.  It’s a no worries, be happy time.
