Our large and comfortable vessel the West Wind is a specially fitted Randall Flybridge Cruiser, powered by a 740hp Detroit diesel engine. The engine has only recently been replaced for increased reliability and customer comfort. The vessel is equipped with: - Depth sounder & Fish Finder - GPS - Ice Box for Drinks - Under cover seating - Toilet - BBQ Fishing Trips These trips are designed for those who want to relax with a bit of fishing. We fish Cairns Grest Barier Reef targetting reef fish Coral Trout Nanagai Travelly and other species For all fishing trips we provide: - Quality rods & Reels, rigged ‘ready to go’ - Rod holders for each person - Top quality bait - Tuition, if required - BBQ - Tea & Coffee - Cordial - BYO Alcohol (2 drinks per person limit) Trips and Rates: 7 am departure half day $220 pp or 7 am full day $280 Other times need prior arrangement… Group Bookings & Private Charters If fishing with a group of friends or a club, for a work function or to celebrate a special event, Cairns Charters Fishing offers private fishing charters for groups to a maximum of 18 pass Please Note: A minimum 4 hour booking is required If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Cancelling Trips - We uses the following cancellation fee policy, on all of its trips. No exceptions apply. - Any booking that is cancelled outside 14 days prior to departure will have no cancellation fee. - Any booking that is cancelled within 14 days prior of departure will have a 50% of total trip cost cancellation fee. - Any booking that is cancelled within 48 hours of departure will have a 100% of total trip cost cancellation fee. - Also any booking that is cancelled due to rain or shower forecast will have a 100% of total trip cost cancellation fee. - We reserves the right to cancel booked trips if “Strong Wind Warning” has been issued by Bureau of Meteorology. This is done for the safety of all and can not be avoided.
