Excellent experience all the way around. Michael was flexible with our schedule and adjusted on the fly when weather didn’t cooperate.

Our trip was absolutely phenomenal. Mike was very helping, answered all our phone calls and was readily available all the time. The boat was in great condition and towing was very convenient. We will definitely book this again soon. Thank you Mike.

The bad: We thought we were getting the boat that was listed in the ad, however, we got a run down older version of that boat. The carpet on the boat was really dirty. There was duct tape holding things together everywhere, the trailer lights did not work, mold on the outside of boat, no stereo. The good: Michael has a really good communication style and response time to questions. The boat didn't break down so I guess that's a plus. I thought I was renting something modest and clean and in good repair and I wanted it to be special for my brother and his family. We spent the majority of time remarking how dirty everything was on the boat ride.

This was my first GetMyBoat experience, and though in general it was fun, I was underwhelmed by the overall value considering the quality and condition of the craft and accessories we rented. Once we took possession of the craft, the owner was very communicative through messaging for various questions (like what is the minimum octane and whether 10% ethanol is okay, or is there another switch for allowing full "up" for trailering, which switch is for bilge pump, etc.), but everything seems to have been ridden hard and put away wet. The prop had some huge gouges and missing pieces, the throttle trim fell off, trailer lights with issues, the wakeboard bindings were shot (though I didn't see this until out on the water), the ski/wakeboard rope had been cut and re-tied multiple times, etc. If this is due to renters being overly hard on equipment, then shame on them, but I was expecting more general upkeep on maintenance for a multi-day rental.

not renting the red boat thats advertised in the picture. Got a white boat instead and it only went 10mph. The boat died on us in the middle of the lake and had to get towed back to the dock. The only thing that made the trip better was that Michael gave us a different boat at no extra cost. Ended up having fun after all the troubles in the morning.
