Come enjoy a sunset cruise on The Goonie Ghost, the only pirate ship sailing the waters of Lake Travis. This is a sailing experience like no other. Sit, relax and enjoy a two hour sunset experience as our team tours you on the waters of Lake Travis, "firing” the canons at any ship not to your liking. If you feel inclined to dress in theme, we highly encourage it. Our pirate ship functions as a “bring your own feast” vessel, though we will provide ice and ice chest. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING -The ideal length for a cruise on The Goonie Ghost is two hours. Plenty of time to experience the thrill of sailing on a pirate ship but avoid those pesky sea legs. -Have more then 15 people? Talk to us about booking our other vessel Little Drama as well. Party barging with both boats in a cove always attracts the eyes and envy of every person in the cove -The Goonie Ghost is NOT an achor-able vessel, prohibiting her from being a swimmable boat. At present the only way to make her swimmable is to book her and her sister ship, Little Drama, for a party barge experience. -We ask that guests primarily remain seated while we’re at sail. This is a real working ship and for your safety we ask that you sit, relax, enjoy a drink and a snack and let us do the work of privateering. What to expect on your adventure: She may look like a fancy ship at a theme park but The Goonie Ghost is a serious sail boat. Real working lines and sails criss cross her deck, there's no movie magic here. On board toward the stern (back of the boat for you land lovers out there) is comfy seating for your guests and a space for you to set up your snacks for your journey. Our crew will take you out on the lake hunting down other boats and party barges. The oohs and aaaah from on lookers can not be beat. Truly, you will feel like a rockstar. Below deck we have space for those guests seeking a little break from the sun and more space for any additional provisions you might want to bring. Charter Cancellation Policy 7 days prior to your charter date. If the cancellation is received 7 days prior to your charter date; 25% of your booking deposit is non refundable the remaining 25% of your booking deposit will be refunded to you within 10 days. If you choose to reschedule 7 days prior to your charter date instead of cancelling your charter with us, your 50% booking deposit can be used toward a future trip within one year of your original charter date. The balance of your charter reservation will be processed 7 days prior to your charter date. Upon processing your balance payment; the total amount of your charter fee is non-refundable and not available for a reschedule. *WEATHER CANCELLATIONS : Cancellations due to severe weather are determined on your rental day. We do not cancel due to weather forecasts. On the date of your reservation, the Port Captain will determine if we need to reschedule due to weather. In this event, you are eligible to reschedule for the next available date that works for your schedule at no cost to you. If the renter still would like to cancel or reschedule, our usual policies apply. Until this decision is made by the Port Captain, we request that you still come to the dock and prepare to have a wonderful time. It’s Texas, the weather changes quickly, so don’t panic.
