   We had the most spectacular sunset sail aboard the Hot Tamale with Captain Karl! He was a very skilled and knowledgeable sailer, allowed us to help raise the sail, and we were so impressed with how he restored this beautiful ship. We were lucky enough to have a warm evening, gentle waves, and clear skies. A pod of dolphins joined us just at sunset which was such a fun bonus. What a perfect way to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. We will absolutely be booking another sail sometime soon.

   Matthew is awesome! He responded so quickly, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better captain. He was extremely knowledgeable about the marina, showed us around, and even took us to see the sea lions. The entire ride was so smooth and relaxing. He also went above and beyond with an awesome birthday setup, including a banner, plates, and a balloon. My entire party absolutely loved him and could not stop raving about him! He joined in on the party, was so kind, personable, and charismatic, and really made us feel special. I would 1000% book with Matthew again.

He was not only a professional captain but also the soul of the trip. funny, friendly, and full of great energy. He chose the most beautiful spot for our special moment and helped make everything feel magical. He also took incredible photos of us that captured the emotions and the beauty of the moment perfectly. Those pictures will become memories we’ll treasure forever. Captain Karl went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. He was attentive, kind, and truly cared about making our day special. You can tell he loves what he does and enjoys sharing these moments with people. We are so grateful for this experience and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a beautiful sailing adventure.
