   A true Pirate Adventure! 🏴‍☠️ This was the trip of a lifetime to Catalina Island, felt like a movie the whole time because it was so beautiful. We saw pods of dolphins, got to sleep on the ship anchored just off shore, and were spoiled with the coolest private shore boat to the island whenever we wanted to explore! Captain Andrew is a great host, captain, and history buff. We so enjoyed his cool answers to our questions about everything we could see on the ship, on the way, and on the island! We also felt extremely safe the whole time trip. I highly recommend booking with him. This would be a dream birthday pirate adventure, photo shoot or music video set location, unique romantic getaway, staycation for something unique in LA that your friends will be jealous of! There are fun props like swords and hats, and we even got to shoot the real cannon!

   We had an incredible time on our three‑hour boat trip. The ride itself was beautiful—calm water, great views, and the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure—but what truly made the experience stand out was the captain. He was an absolute pleasure to be with: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone on board felt comfortable and had a great time. His easygoing personality and passion for what he does turned a simple outing into a memorable experience. I’d happily sail with him again.

They ensured continuous communication, prioritized safety at every step, and took great care of the kids, making the entire experience smooth, enjoyable, and worry-free.    Charters 2000 ran this service and they were very communicative and organized before our trip, so it was very easy to set everything up. We had Captain Roland who was a delight! The boat was exactly as pictured and it was the perfect experience for the group of 11 of us. Would highly recommend!

   My friends and I had an absolute blast on Labor Day weekend. We got to the lot where we were able to find parking right in front of the gate. We waited for the boat to pull up and then once we were on, we were given super easy and quick security protocols and then we were off. They had chairs that we could sit on. You were allowed to bring your own food and drinks. I was incredibly impressed with how our Captain managed the boat solo for the day. Smooth sailing!
