   We had the BEST day on the water with Captain Greg, or DJ Captain Greg, as my friends called him! He was on point with all of our musical requests, with a great sound system. The boat was super clean and nice, and he made sure we were comfortable and had a great time. He took us to great hang out spots, avoided the wind on a fairly windy day, and just added to the fun for all of us for my birthday. His floating pad was awesome, we loved it! Pick up and drop off was easy as could be, we were all so sad when the day was over. I highly recommend Greg and his boat, whether you need a captain or not. 10 out of 10 stars for sure!

   I rented Greg’s boat for my sister’s bachelorette and we had a great time on Folsom Lake. Greg was very communicative, flexible, and accommodating. Greg was waiting for us at the dock and accommodated adding an extra person to the trip. Greg’s pontoon boat was perfect - tons of room for the 10 of us and the added floated oasis & paddle boards were very fun. Greg even grilled us some shrimp. Would highly recommend Greg & his boat!

   For my wife's birthday, I booked a 3-hour cruise with Family Affair Charters through the GetMyBoat website, and I can honestly say it exceeded expectation. The experience was outstanding. The booking process was simple, straightforward, and well explained. Within an hour of submitting my inquiry, I received a detailed quote along with helpful information that made planning easy. I decided to add a couple extras for my wife's birthday and Joy was incredibly accommodating. About two weeks before our trip, I received a text with all the details, directions, and instructions needed for a smooth experience. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Whether by text or email, Joy was always responsive, friendly, and eager to help answer any questions. The day of the cruise was fantastic. The vessel was clean, well maintained, and spacious. There were four adults in our group, and we had plenty of room to relax, enjoy the views, and make ourselves at home. Having full access to the boat made the experience feel even more personal. The Captain is knowledgeable about the local area and shared information throughout the cruise. Joy is an exceptional host. From greeting us at the dock to ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of for the entire trip, her attention to detail and warm hospitality stood out. After a quick safety briefing, we set off for a relaxing and memorable adventure. Everything was seamless, enjoyable, and thoughtfully planned. It was exactly the kind of experience you hope for when celebrating a special occasion. The charter was the highlight of our weekend getaway and created memories that we'll be talking about for years to come. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience for my wife. A heartfelt thank you to Joy and the Captain for making the day special. I highly recommend Family Affair Charters to anyone looking for a special experience on the water.

   Joy and Cap Chuck were absolutely amazing! So kind and great hosts. Joy’s margaritas are a must try for sure. We swam and paddle boarded which was so fun! And Chuck was a great captain and knew a lot about of info and history about the surrounding areas!!!

   My 4 friends and I went out with Joy and Chuck 3/7. Instructions on where to meet were very clear. Joy was the best hostess- arranging amazing snacks and drinks for us- anticipating everything we might need. We also enjoyed the history Chuck provided on the sites of San Diego we passed (we are tourists). I can’t stress enough was a pleasurable experience it was- Joy is the hostess with the mostest! Highly recommend.
