   It was our first time fishing trip in Japan, we had a fantastic time. Captain Yoshihiro and his assistant are very friendly, very knowledgeable, and work very hard to help everyone have a successful day on the water. Every one had so much fun. We like his encouragements and celebrations every time someone caught fish. (Never in trips in USA). And he knows those area of water so well. Although we can not speak Japanese, language was never a problem in our trip. We caught yellowtails and many octopus. He also introduced us to a local small restaurant, we took our yellowtail there, they cooked 4 different ways for us, we loved our dishes. It is our plan to do it again. We would definitely recommend Captain Yoshihiro to anyone looking for a great fishing experience in Osaka Japan.

   Nozomu was great to deal with. We started fishing for octopus, then moved on to Horse Mackerel but they just weren’t biting on this day, however Nozomu suggested trawling off the airport and we ended up with a 94cm Kingfish which was great. Nozomu joined us for dinner at a local family restaurant where they prepared the kingfish and octopus for us. They served multiple dishes and it was very authentic. Great experience. Thanks again.

   Absolutely cannot recommend Captain Nozomu highly enough! He saved our trip—and turned what could have been a huge disappointment into one of the most unforgettable experiences my son and I had in Japan. After being ghosted by another captain we had originally booked through this very site (paid in advance, no-show, no contact…), we were scrambling, heartbroken, and unsure if we’d get to fish at all in Osaka Bay. That’s when we found Captain Nozomu—and everything changed. Despite a language barrier, Captain Nozomu went out of his way to communicate clearly, kindly, and with genuine care. He welcomed us with a warm smile, top-tier professionalism, and the kind of joyful energy that instantly put my 10-year-old son at ease. We were fully outfitted with great gear, thoughtful instruction, and even snacks—and from the moment we stepped aboard, we felt like honored guests. While I’ve been offshore fishing for over 30 years, I was blown away by how skillfully Captain Nozomu handled everything. He made sure we were on the fish and gave us every chance to succeed. My son still hasn’t stopped talking about it. Captain Nozomu was patient, encouraging, and clearly an expert on the water. He made sure everything went smoothly and joyfully, which—given the situation we had come from—meant the world to us.    Fantastic fishing experience with Nozomu! We booked a 4 hour fishing trip with Nozomu where we targeted Sea Bass. Together my girlfriend and I caught 3 large Sea Bass and one smaller Bream. Nozomu was a fantastic and accommodating captain. He was quick to change spots if we weren't getting good bites, assisted with fishing gear, and provided good fishing tips. There was several times where we almost lost our lures to bad snags, but Nozomu was able to retrieve them each time. Nozomu was also very easy to work with when setting up our trip. Our first scheduled date was cancelled due to poor weather and Nozomu was flexible with rescheduling. I just wish my Japanese language skills were a bit stronger so I could have better exchanged fishing tips and stories with Nozomu. I would definitely recommend Nozomu to anyone looking to book fishing trip in the future.

   We loved Captain Nozomu! He is very kind and funny. My wife and I were beginners and Nozomu was very patient with us. He’s a great teacher and makes sure you are having a good time. I can see he tried his hardest to make sure we both enjoyed our fishing trip. Great conversationalist, boat driver and fishing teacher.
