   When you're trapped on an 18' boat with a few of your friends/family and a total stranger for a few hours, you kind of hope that they'll be a good hang. Laurent is just that! He's clearly a hospitality pro and really understands how to host the excursion. He's got a great sense of humor, a great personality, and a wonderful service-based mindset. He was a hit with all involved. And of course, a super clean lovely boat and an all-around great time.

From the moment we stepped aboard, Curt made us feel like VIPs—his warm welcome, easygoing vibe, and deep knowledge of the marina and its hidden gems set the tone for an incredible experience. The boat was pristine and cozy, gliding effortlessly through the calm waters as Curt pointed out everything from celebrity boats to local wildlife. He knew the history of the harbor and the best photo spots. Whether we were laughing over stories or soaking in the sun, Curt kept the energy high and the atmosphere relaxed. It wasn’t just a duffy ride—it was a floating celebration. We brought snacks and drinks, and Curt made sure everything was smooth sailing (literally). His professionalism and fun-loving spirit made the whole trip feel effortless and magical. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend Captain Curt for anyone wanting a memorable, joyful, and truly local experience on the water.    Highly recommend Nic and his pontoon boat with a slide. Our kids had a blast and are already asking when we can go again. His boat was clean and Nic was very nice and laid back and wanted us to have the best time. He had a great sound system!

   We chartered Laurent’s boat for my birthday celebration, and it was absolutely amazing! My husband, our two teenage kids, and I had the best time. Laurent was a fantastic captain—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of amazing energy. He gave us a great tour around the marina and then took us out into the open ocean, which was so exhilarating. To top it off, he went above and beyond by going out of his way to drop us off dockside right at our lunch reservations afterwards—such a thoughtful touch! It was a gorgeous day on the water, and the entire experience far exceeded our expectations. We were all beaming with joy from start to finish! I can’t recommend this boat and captain enough if you’re looking for a fabulous time out on the water. We can’t wait to rent with Laurent again!

   This was an amazing experience! Our captain Ade was kind and drove the boat very well, he took us around the entire harbor and helped us get great views and photos! The boat itself was the best Duffy boat we’ve ever rented in CA, it was spotless, beautiful, and had an amazing back area to get amazing views. We would definitely book again!

   I was going to rent a boat from Marina del Rey rentals but due to their reviews I decided to try something different. I was referred to duke and his boats through Google and was very happy with my experience. He took the time to explain everything about the boat and was pleasant while doing so. I will definitely call Duke again when I need to rent a boat in Marina del Rey.. Thank you.
