Enjoy Le Morne, Mauritius by boat! Go fishing in Le Morne, Mauritius on a 38 ft "Billifish" Cuddy Cabin for $570 per day. Boat comes with fishing gear, bait and tackle. Billifish is a locally built 38 ft x 12 ft fiberglass cabin cruiser perfect for deep sea fishing in Mauritian waters. It is powered by twin Perkins Sabre turbo diesel 225 hp inboard engines.The boat can take up to 8 clients for fishing or just cruising around to watch the dolphins. Boat is equipped with PENN international reels with straight butt rods loaded with mono-filament maxima line for trolling. 1 main fighting chair + 2 auxiliary (if needed), life jackets, 1 table, toilet, flying deck with sun canopy, 1 down rigger and a variety of artificial trolling lures. If you have your favorite or lucky rod or lure you want to use, we will be happy to use them. As means of communication the boat is equipped with a VHF radio and  a mobile phone. We also have a Humminbird GPS-fish finder combo. We usually troll for pelagic game fishes using artificial lures, if it is known that big fishes are biting on live bait the crew might hook up 1 or 2 freshly caught bonito and slow troll. The crew will decide whether to do so depending on sea conditions, area and size of the bonito. However, if you wish to catch small fishes only just let us know. Most fishes here are very strong compared to some countries due to the deep waters and strong currents. Marlins over 1000 lbs are caught every year either by charter boats or by smaller local fishing boats (pirogues) who use hand lines. Fish Species: Most species can be caught all year round but there are times of the year that are best for some specific fishes. Pacific Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Swordfish, Hammerhead Shark, Mako Shark, Tiger Shark, Dorado (mahi mahi), Wahoo, YellowFin Tuna, Dogtooth Tuna, Skipjack tuna (bonito), Barracuda, White End, Black Fin and Blue Pointer Sharks. Prices: Half Day -7:00 - 12:00 (5 hours): $450 Half Day - 7:00 - 13:00 (6 hours): $510 Full Day - 7:00 - 15:00(8 hours): $570 Prices include fuel, soft drinks and water.
