Thomas and Tristan established The Company in 2007 after managing different kitesurfing companies worldwide. This experience gave them the necessary knowledge required to run a professional watersports school and helped the company to be immediately recognized as a BKSA kite centre. The professionalism, quality of instruction and dedication over the following seasons promoted the centres status to BKSA National Training Centre, just one of three in the country. During the past few seasons the watersports school has expanded into SUP (stand up paddleboarding), surfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, kite buggy and kite landboarding and equipment is available to hire for all of the sports. Enormous open sandy beaches, good infrastructure to the area, good local accommodation and dining, local attractions for partners or family and WIND are highly important and rare assets which have allowed the school continued success. The beach offers the most consistent wind of anywhere along the south or east coast and with over 4 miles of amazing golden sand and shallow water. This is vitally important for us because we can not only run lessons but also complete them in one day. Being on a peninsular, we have the option of other great kitesurfing beaches just 10 minutes away if the wind is coming from a different direction. The local area offers a whole range of accommodation and there are plenty of attractions for all ages in the beautiful and popular tourist towns of Rye and Hastings, just a few miles away.
