Captain was very attentive and skilled as well as accommodating of our group. We had a wonderful time aboard Pamlico and appreciated the Captain’s engagement of each passenger, aged 8-80.

Brian is a wonderful Captain. He was very accommodating. We had several special requests prior to our trip; Brian responded quickly and worked with us to make everything for our experience just right. We would definitely go with Brian again.

We rented a boat with Captain Brian to scatter my sister and brother-in-law’s ashes. From the first message, Captain Brian always returned my messages as soon as possible and always answered my questions. On the boat, Captain Brian (Wes) was so kind! He explained everything to us and was very compassionate. I would use him again and will suggest him to my friends! Thank you Captain Brian (Wes)!

We had a fabulous experience on our boat cruise. Wes was very friendly & communicative leading up to the day of the trip and very accommodating when weather didn’t cooperate and we had to reschedule and easy going and friendly when we did go out.
Our captain served 21 years in the US Coast Guard obtaining the rank of Senior Chief Boatswains Mate and was the Officer in Charge of the Hatteras Inlet and Ocracoke Lifeboat Stations in the late 1990’s. Wes earned his captains license in 1993 after over 7 years at sea on Coast Guard Cutters and Patrol Boats. He also served several tours of duty at coastal Search and Rescue stations. After the Coast Guard, Wes earned his Bachelors Degree (Historic Preservation) and Masters Degree (Business Administration) from the University of Mary Washington and has, until recently retiring, worked as the Public Works Director and Town Manager for a small, Central Virginia town.
