They are enthusiastic, patient, and will always try to give you individual feedback, according to your personal surfing skill. The beginner lessons are happening every day, advanced level lessons happen, usually, from Monday to Friday. The surf lessons last approximately 2 hours a day, and, in order to maximize you surfing skill improvements, we’ll always try to split it into two 1,5 h sessions. Additional Services: We also rent surfboard to experienced surfers. We have a certification from FPS-Federação Portuguesa de Surf (Portuguese Surfing Federation), from ICNF-Instituto de Conservação da Natureza e Florestas (Nature Conservation Institute), from the Capitania do Porto de Lagos (Coast Guard) and we operate under the license nº 532008 from Turismo de Portugal, I.P. (Portuguese Tourism Institute). International Surf School is based in Sagres, a place privileged by mother-nature, with coastlines facing both South and West. That is the reason why the area is known for having the highest swell consistency in all Continental Europe.Created in 2001, we are one of the first Surf Schools operating in this region and also one of the founders of the AESCV – Associação de Escolas de Surf da Costa Vicentina (Algarve’s Surf Schools Association in the Natural Park). Our aim is not just to make you stand on the board. We teach you to surf! All our surf teachers are certified and very experienced in teaching students from absolute beginners to advanced surfers.
