   ¡Un divertido barco para navegar cerca de Ixtapa con el Monterey 180 FS BR Boat!

   . Our family of three did not need a huge yacht, just wanted to get on the water and perhaps do some Snorkeling so booking with Jose’s boat was perfect fit, it was easy through this app. Our captain (Moses) first toured us along the coast to Zihuatanejo. This boat had a nice area for two to comfortably relax-lay out in the bow of the boat. (See pics) and I could hang in “passenger seat” to view all. On our way to Ixtapa island to snorkel, we spotted a humpback mom and calf breaching. We watched for 40 minutes (we were the only boat ) as they breached and played, then the momma seem to swim purposely close to boat and revealed that her calf had a fishing net draped over its rostrum (head) Moses immediately called the local Marine authorities and we waited 10 or so minutes for them to show up. The humpbacks did a deep dive and Moses proceeded over to Ixtapa island and anchored for some swimming and “fish watching”. Recommend you bring your own snorkel gear. We leisurely returned along coast , past our entrance to harbour for an extra half hour boat ride. When we got back to port, Moses informed us that the marine crew had managed to save the calf from ultimate doom and removed the netting covering its head and mouth. . It Was a fantastic day for our whole family(3) and the whale family (2) !😉😎 We Would highly recommend this boat and captain to any small groups travelling to Zihuatanejo-Ixtapa.    Everything was perfect. When we first booked the boat, Jose was proactive about communicating with us and setting up a plan. When we arrived at the marina, we were greeted and broad to our captain Moises. The boat had Bluetooth, snacks, beer and other drinks. Moises was professional and polite and helped us do a lot of cool stuff with our 4 hours. We went to Isla Ixtapa where we got ferried in by another boat to have a great lunch. Next, we checked out more private sides of the ocean, including one with coral reef. We snorkeled were able to snorkel around the coral reef which was super cool and something we wouldn’t have been able to do without a captain. Jose’s planning and Moisés’ professionalism made the experience fun and seamless.

   Abel and his team were absolutely amazing!!! We arrived by taxi and he was there to greet us, let us grab some snacks and walked us right to the yacht. His team was professional and friendly! We got to see whales and snorkeled at a private virgin beach! They also let us decide what we wanted to do! They gave us some great options like isla gatas and isla iztapa we had already gone so we went with whale watching and snorkeling. I definitely recommend!!!!

   I had the most amazing time on board Abel's boat. I celebrated my 30th birthday with my closest friends and they made us feel so special. They were super accommodating and just over all a pleasure to be around. One of the most memorable boat experiences I've had. I can't wait to come back and visit.

   We were only four people but the boat could easily handle 12. The crew was excellent. They asked us at the outset how we wanted to spend our time. We were only out for 4 hours but could easily stayed longer. We fished, snorkeled and had a great time. Able, the owner, was easy to reach. We would definitely charter the Gran Jefe II again.

   The boat is a great size and the crew was outstanding. Abel was great with communication leading up to our charter and response time was very quick. They go out of their way to make your day special even post charter by making sure we got a cup back. I can't recommend Abel, Ivan, Enrique, and the El Jefe III enough. The fishing was awesome and we caught 3 black tuna and one mahi mahi. We had a restaurant cook the fish for us which was great. Seeing the beauty of the coast line from the water was amazing. Book now! You won't regret it!!!
