   Excellent staffing at Sterling Sails. We had a great time. Elizabeth and Cody were wonderful. The vessel waa great. Weather was perfect. Couldn't have had a better time. My only gripe was that, after booking, they send you a text message with information, and one of the bulletpoints is an instruction to tip the captain 20%. While i loved the captain, she is awesome, such an instruction violates GetMyBoat's TOS and feels audacious in this economy. (January 2026). It is written as an instruction, not a request, is not mentioned in the GetMyBoat advertisement, and it chips away at the joyfulness of the experience through imposition of pressure to tip. If the boat ownership is not paying their staff well enough, they need to fix that. But to ask consumers to spend $800, and then tell them "wait, now that you've given us $800, we are letting you know you must give us an additional $160," is insanely out-of-touch and quite frankly offensive. Pay your employees better and don't turn a "tip" into a mandatory posr-booking surcharge.

   Wonderful Father's Day sailing trip with Captain Dale and Danielle! Can not say enough and will totally book another day with them on this sailboat! All 6 of us had such a wonderful time. I really wanted to see dolphins on this trip and Captain Dale said that he had the dolphins on his payroll, well he has one heck of a payroll as hundreds showed up! We took a 4 hour trip which was just prefect, well maybe I would add one more hour! Diana

   What a beautiful day. Nothing like being or on the water on a sunny 70 degree day. Captain Dale and first mate Dawn were more than accommodating, imparted sailing knowledge to my two boys, and even made brownies. We also caught a glimpse of some dolphins and some sunning seals. Thanks for a great day!

   Dale was a wonderful Captain! He made sure we had everything we needed, and had great communication regarding our trip. He’s very nice and made our group feel welcomed. His boat is very clean and comfortable. It was perfect for an afternoon cruise. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the sun. I would absolutely recommend him to friends and use him again.

   Dale is one of the most professional and friendly people I've had the pleasure of doing business with. He not only arranged everything for an incredible sunset cruise on his sailboat, but he also made cupcakes for my guests and me since it was my birthday. His boat was even better than pictured and had ample room for my guests and me. There was also shade in the main cabin portion of the boat, which is a big plus compared to a lot of the other boats I looked at. The most exciting part was being on the bow of the boat as the views were incredible! Since we used the boat's sails on the open ocean, everything was extremely quiet (compared to a motorized vessel), and all you can hear was the wind and the water. The boating adventure far exceeded my expectations and I couldn't have asked for a better evening out on the water. Thank you again to Dale and his crew for an incredible experience!
