Here in Western New York we are blessed with some of the best freshwater fishing in North America! The steelhead & brown trout fishing in the tributaries of Lake Erie provides anglers with world class action during the spring and fall runs. These fish range from 4-12 lbs and offer great sport to fly anglers. The best part is that these fish are found in beautiful places. The Lake Ontario tributaries also offer excellent fishing for trophy steelhead & brown trout, as well as chinook and coho salmon. Steelhead Season September 15 - May 15 Smallmouth Bass/Carp Season May 1 - June 15 Rates: $350 for 1 angler ($250 for 1/2 day) $450 for 2 anglers ($325 for 1/2 day) $600 for 3 anglers ($450 for 1/2 day) Trip Includes: - Full day of fly fishing (8 hours on water) - Flies, leaders & tippet - Lunch, snacks & drinks - Digital photos of your catch We also offer Fly Fishing Lessons. Each class will cover: ·Tackle Setup/rigging up ·Knots ·Fly Fishing Terminology ·Flies--Identification of basic insects and the imitations that match them ·Casting Instruction--basic types of casting that you will need to be successful. ·Reading Water ·Tactics--On stream tactics that will make you a better fly fisher. Full day on-stream lessons are $350/person, $100 for each additional person. Half day on-stream lessons are $250/person, $75 for each additional person. Two hour casting lessons on the "lawn" are $100 person, $50 for each additional person, up to four anglers. Bring your own gear, or we can provide it.
