Rates: • Half day: $375 • Full day: $475 What You Can Expect: Casco Bay (The Best in Maine Flats Fishing) With countless acres of flats, large numbers of active fish, no crowds, and a beautiful setting, there aren't many places like Casco Bay. We focus our efforts on the middle to lower half of the bay, fishing the inshore flats and shallows aboard a poling skiff. You will fish most of your day in less then five feet of water, taking advantage of the currents that wash over the flats and bring stripers into skinny water feeding zones. Saco Bay Weather and tide premitting, we also fish the sand flats in the Saco Bay area, which offer the opportunity to sight fish all season long. The cool waters of Maine, mixed with the bright summer sun allow for sight casting well into the so-called dog days of summer. A small skiff must be used to pole into the currents that push over the bright sand and make the dark-backed fish such great targets for longer leaders and Merkin-style crab patterns.
