TRU-SUP provides beginners with SUP lessons as well as Surf School for those wanting to learn to catch a wave. Kids, mums and dads,tourists and business people visiting town find this a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the ocean, and get fit in the process. “TRU-SUP” operates on the Coral Coast (based at Hideaway Resort servicing all nearby resorts). It provides: experienced Guide and Instructor Lessons for Groups or Individuals (including classes for children) Weekly and monthly specials About Owner operator Daniel Jason (Danny), started the “TRU-SUP” business for Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP). TRU-SUP has now expanded to include SUP and Surfing at the Coral Coast, Fiji, based at Hideaway Resort. Previously Danny worked in the West of Fiji, mainly at Nadi and Port Denarau and at resorts in the Coral Coast, as a trained SUP and Surfing instructor for 5 years, and former Gym/Personal Trainer for another 5 years. Danny says: “SUP is fast growing in popularity especially in Fiji where the ocean waters are very calm and flat and that’s ideal for beginners. “When you start off you will learn about ocean safety and basic techniques. Then as you improve your understanding and you feel more comfortable, you can eventually go out to the breaks and ride the waves. Standing up on the board and riding the waves is an amazing experience, whether you are learning to SUP or Surf.’ PRICES - $23.00 per hour for SUP per person
