I am engineer by trade and worked all my life in the oil gas industry. Near to my retirement I decided to give it a chance to resume working although somehow with my hobby: aeromodelism. But, unsatisfied to see that small plan up on air and not able to actually be there in the cockpit I had this idea, after realized I am lucky enough to live in the biggest beach of the world, more than 100km long, very windy year around.So very similar planes are to boats although I don´t consider myself a sailor, I had the idea to adapt wheels onto a structure to be able to catch the wind and run on the solid beach sand. The Windcar was born. Later on I found out there are similar vehicles around the planet, such as iceboats and other fun way to enjoy wind and freedom.Welcome aboard Windcar!Paulo Albernaz
