Excursion starts from Oravi village where you collect all the paddling gear, map and route instructions. The paddling route goes trough the archipelago of Joutenvesi and the rugged National Park of Kolovesi. All this way the lake is clean, full of fish and if you are lucky you may spot one of the seals living in the area. 1st -(2nd) night: at Joutenvesi on one of the islands. Camping with everyman's law so open fire is not allowed. USe camping cooker for cooking. (2nd)-3rd night: at Kolovesi on one of the marked camp sites (in national park area camping is allowed only on marked camp sites). Use camping cooker or fire places provided on the camp sites. Duration: 4 days, 3 nights. Start from Oravi. Paddling route is minimum of 40km.
