Courses: • Open Water Diver: $360 USD • Instructor Cross Overs: SSI firmly believes in recognizing the fact that you are already a certified professional instructor or divemaster from a recognized agency, and is committed to making the crossover to SSI as simple and efficient as possible. Seeing as though you are already an instructor, we would just like to bring you up to speed with the SSI Total Teaching System, our philosophy and the slight differences in our water skills. • SSI Open Water Instructor: The SSI Instructor Training Course is a unique, tried and tested program that is continuously updated to ensure that all SSI dive professionals equipped with the latest industry knowledge and retail business training.  SSI believes in equipping it’s newly certified instructors with all the above necessary skills and knowledge to work successfully and share their passion with others. • SSI Instructor Evaluation: Once the SSI Instructor Training Course has been completed, the final step to becoming a fully fledged scuba diving instructor is the Instructor Evaluation. Spread over 2 days, the Instructor Evaluation is the chance for you to show and prove that you are fully equipped to start teaching people how to scuba dive and enjoy the delights of the underwater world. • Free Diving Adventure: The Maldives has a deep-rooted history in freediving, with skills and techniques having been practiced for centuries. The SSI Freediving Adventure program seeks to fine-tune and home in on a person’s freediving ability and give them the chance to perfect their breath-hold techniques. Whether 5 or 15 meters deep, freediving offers students and visitors to the Maldives complete freedom, silence and relaxation underwater. • Swim Teacher Certifications: It’s incredibly rewarding watching people take the first steps into the water and helping them to feel confident and comfortable in this element. The Swim Schools International program of Swim Teacher courses provides all the necessary training and skills to allow you to teach and train people of all ages and abilities in swimming. • Life Guard Courses: With so much water surrounding this tiny island nation, the need for safety around the ocean is incredibly high.  The SSI Lifeguard Courses are designed to bring a much needed standard of training to those involved with people taking part in water related activities. The Lifeguard Course will help develop and train skills that will allow you to deal with situations that arise as a result of people getting into difficulties in the water.   The course focuses on proper techniques to ensure that both the victim is given the best possible chance of survival, while ensuring that the safety of the rescuer is not compromised. • Ocean Reef: Instructor Specialty Course: Full Face Mask Diving is helping to change the way we dive!  From increased vision underwater, being able to communicate effectively, to a much more comfortable dive, full face masks are creating new possibilities for both instructors and divers alike. Full Face Mask & SSI Try Scuba: The benefit of obtaining the SSI Instructor Specialty credential is that the Integrated Full Face Mask can be used for the SSI Try Scuba Program.  This helps to ensure that the student’s first underwater experience is with a mask that doesn’t leak, fog up and which allows them to breathe in as natural a way as possible – not through a regulator, which often acts as a barrier to people wanting to try diving. • Underwater Communication:  Instructor accreditation from SSI has been designed for diving professionals that are considering using underwater communication during their day-to-day activities; either while teaching student divers or when leading a group of divers. This course implements knowledge development, a confined water skill development session, and two open water training dives.
