The "Utila Princess" is a catamaran ferry that travels twice a day between the port of La Ceiba and the Utila dock which has indoor air conditioned seating. Seating consists of long benches that run the length of the boat. The trip, depending on the weather, takes approximately one hour. You should arrive the departure area twenty minutes before the departure time. During busy times of the year such as Easter and Christmas, you should arrive an hour or more before the scheduled departure time. Each passenger is permitted two pieces of luggage and one carry-on. A fee will be charged for additional items of luggage.
