Maybe you've always dreamed of a fishing trip to New Zealand to cast a fly on one of our fabulous rivers or perhaps you're visiting our beautiful country for the first time and just looking for that memorable Kiwi experience. Take the opportunity of spending a few hours or better a whole day casting a fly on one of our internationally renowned trout fishing rivers Fly fishing New Zealand rivers can vary greatly in the experience they offer the visiting angler and whether you're an experienced, seasoned fly fisherman or woman or perhaps a novice, there's a river in our region for you. Whether its big water echoing the sound of thundering rapids like the Tongariro made famous by the American angler Zane Grey or the more serene waters of a bush-clad stream or spring creek our region has it all. Angler enjoys a variety of challenges and the opportunity to fish a wide range of rivers in our region. This summer has produced some fabulous dry fly opportunities with great cicada hatches both on our local Taupo rivers & on those surrounding backcountry rivers. Rates:  • Half Day Fishing Trip (4-5 hours) - 350 NZD for 1 or 2 anglers Taupo fishing license fees 17 NZD per adult daily. Complimentary tea and coffee provided during 1/2 day fishing trips. Limited to 1-2 anglers per trip. • Full Day Fishing Trips (8-9 hours) -600 NZD for 1 or 2 anglers Taupo fishing license fees 17 NZD adult. Hamper style lunches are provided during full day fishing trips. Limited to 1-2 anglers per trip.  Plus NZ fishing licence fees 22. NZD adult daily. • If fly fishing outside the Taupo region on our wilderness rivers 650 NZD full day.
