Surfing Lessons in Bali, Indonesia

Are you travelling to Bali and want to surf? If you’re a complete beginner, Bali Surf Guides will look after you, teach you the basics and have you surfing before you know it. If you’re more experienced and want to progress, we’ll help you with the skills to become a better surfer. Ages 5 to 95 catered for. If you can swim, and are reasonably fit, we’ll teach you to surf in Bali! Our team specialise in beginner surf lessons whilst you're in Bali. We'll guide you through the basics starting on the beach, spend time helping you understand the waves and local conditions, before getting into the water. Join us and we’ll take you to the best Bali surf breaks to suit your experience, make sure you’re well looked after, and guarantee you’ll have the best time surfing with us.  We’re locals who surf every day. We know our island paradise and will make sure you spend more time catching waves and less time trying to find them! In a 2 hour beginner session you’ll learn: • Introduction to your surf board, how to carry the board from the beach to the ocean • Body position: how and where to lay on the board • How to stand up on the board • Timing: how to catching the wave • Understanding beach conditions, types of waves, tide,wind and rips. If you’ve had a few lessons we’ll evaluate your skills and help you to progress them in a 2 hour session. You’ll learn to: • Improve your paddling • Understand channels and recognising the ocean currents • Learn to manoeuvre the board and make turns What’s included – 2 hour session: • Pickup and drop off at your hotel / villa / accommodation at a pre negotiated time to suit your schedule (and the tides – we can’t control the waves!) • Board to match your experience (we use soft top boards for beginner classes) • Water and a towel • Minimum of 2 guests per group, maximum of 6 guests per car • 1 instructor to every 2 guests Cost: IDR 550,000 (Indonesian rupiah) per person Contact us if you’d like to surf with us in one of the world’s best locations.
