   Excellent staffing at Sterling Sails. We had a great time. Elizabeth and Cody were wonderful. The vessel waa great. Weather was perfect. Couldn't have had a better time. My only gripe was that, after booking, they send you a text message with information, and one of the bulletpoints is an instruction to tip the captain 20%. While i loved the captain, she is awesome, such an instruction violates GetMyBoat's TOS and feels audacious in this economy. (January 2026). It is written as an instruction, not a request, is not mentioned in the GetMyBoat advertisement, and it chips away at the joyfulness of the experience through imposition of pressure to tip. If the boat ownership is not paying their staff well enough, they need to fix that. But to ask consumers to spend $800, and then tell them "wait, now that you've given us $800, we are letting you know you must give us an additional $160," is insanely out-of-touch and quite frankly offensive. Pay your employees better and don't turn a "tip" into a mandatory posr-booking surcharge.

   Dustin was a phenomenal captain and incredibly accommodating. He communicated clearly, was ready to go when we arrived and had a very enjoyable knowledge of Newport Harbor and history of the area. Will definitely use him again in the future, strongly recommend Dustin for your adventures.

   Our six-person group had a great time on Dustin's boat! This was our first booking on this site and the experience was terrific from start to finish. Dustin was very responsive, arrived promptly at the departure time and we appreciated his little bits of trivia as we cruised around Newport Harbor. The boat fit our group comfortably along with our snacks and refreshments. Look forward to our next booking!

   our need was outside of the box. we were looking for a boat owner that would help us with product testing. specifically, we needed someone that could tow a large balloon. Dustin Answered the call, and we learned a lot about changes we needed to make to our product. we would absolutely use this boat again.

   The ride was fantastic. And Dustin is a phenomenal captain. My boyfriend and I we’re looking for a weekend getaway and I cannot emphasize enough how much fun we had ,and we got there late but Dustin was so patient and understanding he extended our trip . He is very detailed and a very good conversationalist. Def booking with him again .If your looking to book a boat ride,don’t even think twice coz Dustin’s the real deal.😉
