   The boat was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described. The captain and crew were professional, fun, and made sure we felt safe and celebrated the entire time. They truly helped make my 40th unforgettable. If you’re planning a special occasion, I highly recommend Get My Boat. They helped turn a milestone birthday into a core memory!

   Sergio and the entire crew were extremely professional, kind, attentive, and truly outstanding. The food was delicious, the drinks were well made, and the chef even prepared a special meal for the kids on board, which was very much appreciated. The catamaran itself was exactly as advertised clean, spacious, and exactly as shown in the photos. Tanya, the booking representative, surprised us with a cake, birthday decorations, and a birthday sign, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch. Overall, the onboard experience felt very luxurious. That said, I do wish it had been communicated to us prior to departure that we would not be able to go to Playa Norte due to the weather. We were unaware this stop would not be possible, and had we known in advance, I would have preferred to reschedule. The water was extremely choppy, and unfortunately every person on board became sick. I have chartered boats many times, and this was by far the worst conditions we have ever been in. When I later shared this feedback with Tanya, I felt the response was dismissive rather than receptive. I was told that I should simply be appreciative of the birthday surprise, rather than having my concerns acknowledged. I was also told that the crew would now “be in trouble with the boat owner” because of my feedback, which felt inappropriate and unfair. This was especially concerning given that my message repeatedly emphasized how exceptional the crew was and that they did nothing wrong. They provided outstanding service under challenging conditions. I am still rating this experience five stars because the crew truly deserves full recognition for their professionalism and care. With clearer communication ahead of time and a more constructive approach to feedback, this experience could have been flawless.

   I recently booked a 4-hour rental with Jose for his Mako out of Galveston, and it was hands-down one of the best spontaneous adventures my family and I have had on the water. We’re a group of four—me, my wife, and our two kids (ages 9 and 12)—and we were looking for something fun and low-key to beat the Texas heat without committing to a full-day charter. Jose’s listing on GetMyBoat caught our eye because of the boat’s size (perfect for us, not too cramped) and the glowing reviews about his reliability. He made the process easy and was very responsive! We will be booking again!

   Jose was a pheonominal host. On time, extremely responsive and very professional. Very accommodating! We will definitely be booking with Jose again, along with recommending him to anyone! 5 stars! His boat was in great shape, ran perfectly. The entire experience was an absolute pleasure!

   Rented a very nice boat from Jose S. yesterday 7/9/25 to cruise around with our 9 year old and her friend during our vacation in Galveston TX. We loved every minute of it. Jose S. was very attentive, stayed in good communication with us and provided a nice, clean and safe boat for our 3 hours on the water. We couldn't have asked for better service from Jose S. It was a definite highlight of our trip. Thinking this would be a great day for just my wife and I in the future as well. Would recommend using Jose S. to anyone looking for an amazing day on the water.
