   We had an absolutely incredible experience during a 12 hour layover with Captain Bob and his crew during our six-hour ocean adventure in Fiji! From start to finish, the trip was packed with unforgettable moments. We captured amazing photos, swam to a pristine sandbar, snorkeled in breathtaking underwater spots, and even caught some fish—all in just six hours! Captain Bob and his first mate Michael were top-notch professionals, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we were always comfortable and entertained. The extra support from Bob’s son and nephew, who served as deckhands, added to the seamless and enjoyable experience. Fiji is truly a magical place, and this trip was the highlight of our time here. We can’t recommend Captain Bob enough and are already looking forward to coming back for another adventure!

   Ron made our trip such an awesome experience. Went over and above ensuring we had a great time island hopping and experiencing cool places for snorkeling, beach walks and other activities. It was great to be taken to places which didn't have any people there at all. Swam with reef sharks and had an amazing time sailing and taking it easy when cruising around as well. Food was also very well prepared.

   Tre trip with Ron was perfect. He took a really good care of us and showed us amazing places. The only thing is a little missleading price which was double of what was advertised. Otherwide everything was great and I would really recommend going with Ron who built the entire boat himself from scratch. Simply amazing.

   We booked for 2 days and one night with Ron and Jodi. It was an amazing experience. We felt safe all the time. Ron is a great host, he makes you confortable and is always ready to teach you everything you want to know about his boat. He showed us wonderful places. Freewind is well designed, comfy and it was a pleasure sailing her. We would definitely go on another adventure with them again !

   As a group of 4 people we were with Ron on a 5 nights trip. We've had the best time! Ron is a very experienced skipper. So in any situation he is cool, calm and collected. The boat is perfect for 4 people. Ron was also our cook on this trip and prepared very delicious meals. Even baked cake! And we didn't have to do anything and could thereby enjoy every minute. The Freewind is a sailboat and so naturally space is limited. This applies e.g. to the restroom, changing clothes and climbing on deck within confined spaces. Thank you Ron for a wonderful time around the Mananucas and Yasavas!

   Our 2-day trip with Ron was spectacular. We are a sailing family from San Francisco (2 adults, a teenager and elementary schooler), that did a 2-day stopover in Fiji on the way to New Zealand. We had two days of unabated paradise on Freewind with Ron. He took us to the most incredible deserted beaches we’ve ever seen, on Mana Island, and spent hours there. He is among the best sailors I’ve ever seen as he single-handed his 46 foot sloop, you are in the safest seaman’s hands with him. He feeds you 3 homemade scrumptious meals a day. He is ever so considerate, crafting the itinerary around your preferences, and ensuring your kids have chocolate milk and smoothies to keep them cool and happy! We’ve sailed all over the world, both bareboat and skippered charters, and can say he is the very best - he is the most experienced sailor we’ve ever sailed with. He is also a man of real humility despite his incredible experience of multiple ocean passages and local knowledge - and his demeanor is one of which a family seems extremely comfortable staying with. If you are even considering taking a trip with Ron, don’t hesitate, you won’t regret it!
