Day trip to Linnansaari National Park Linnansaari National Park is a Lakeland national park including hundreds of islands. The main island is a great wilderness destination for a day visit by boat or canoe. You can also hike on the marked nature trails on the island and visit the museum croft area. On sunny days you can find your own cove for swimming or pick berries and mushroom. Services on the island: Cafe with drinks, ice cream, snack and freshly smoked vendace. Timetable for the daily boat • Oravi - Linnansaari 9.30am, 12.30pm, 3.30pm • Linnansaari - Oravi 12noon, 3pm, 6pm • Järvisydän - Linnansaari 11am, 5pm • Linnansaari - Järvisydän 10am, 4pm You can hop in to any of the return boats. Just be at the pier in Linnansaari 15min before departure time. Boat capacity 8-14 persons/ boat. On busy days we drive the route with several boats or multiple times with one boat. Please be prepared for small timetable changes. It is an open boat. Dogs are allowed on the boat.
